The “Great Thing” about God is His timing. God may not come when you want Him, but he's always on time. What you do in between having faith, speaking life, applying Biblical principles, and receiving a blessing makes all the difference in the world. This is why it is important to stand still or rather surrender to the will of God.
When we put God first, we are constantly in conversation with God. To know God is to Love God. God is Love. God's love is complete. It's never ending. Romans 8:38-39 says "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." The reckless love of God will leave the 99 just for you. That type of love is the core ingredient of a blessing.
Utopia and Brandon appeared to be in a heated argument, but God was in the atmosphere. The devil thought he had them when they disagreed in the car and took their problems into the club. Little did they know, Christ had church going up, in the club.
A true relationship with God means God is always with you. When you stand still and surrender you allow God to enter your heart. When you have Faith in someone who died, rose in three days, and promised to return so you can have everlasting life, it makes you believe you can do all things through Jesus Christ.
The power of believing in God is seen as Utopia begins to worship on her Job in the club. She begins to speak to God and almost instantly her love for God empowers Brandon to focus on God more than the problem. When you speak that new business, book, or practice into existence only God can make your dream a reality. Surrender and put God first.
When you mix God's love with His promise it grows into passion. Passion shifts to purpose when you are driven by Biblical principles that help you to reach your destiny. Reading the Bible daily and applying scripture develops discipline. When you consistently tithe, minister, and volunteer, not only do you speak life into your future, you sow into your future.
When you have faith, speak life, and apply Biblical principles in your life, “Great Things” are bound to happen. Taking time to learn your significant other's love language leads to a happy ending. You got to believe you are worth the investment before you reap the harvest.
Tis the season for #believers all over the world to show up and show out. We will overcome this test like the fight between Utopia and Brandon by putting our faith to work. When you do something you love, it's not work, it's passion. If faith without works is dead, then Faith with works is destiny.
Love,
Rick Dorn
